State Champion Wrestlers
Congratulations to Clay Alguire of West Lincoln and Jeremy Tarleton of East Lincoln for capturing the 2A State Championship in their respective weight classes in Greensboro.
Alguire defeated Hunter Pease of Pisgah 19-3 to win the 138 pound weight class, and was named the 2A Most Outstanding Wrestler.
Tarleton won the 170 pound division by defeating Andrew Brotherton of Bandys 11-6. Tarleton had just lost to Brotherton a week earlier in the Regionals.
